Joining & bidding
How auctions work
Who can publish or join an auction?
Any active Klik member with a verified email address can publish an auction or join another seller's auction. Sellers cannot join or bid on their own listings.
What does it cost to join?
The seller chooses the entry fee and minimum number of participants. The exact fee is shown on the auction page and is debited from your available credits when you join.
When does joining close?
Joining normally closes 5 hours before the scheduled start. After the cutoff, new participants cannot enter even if the auction has not started.
What happens when the minimum crowd is not reached?
The auction does not start. Every joined participant receives the full entry fee back as credits, and the refund appears in the wallet ledger.
How does live bidding use my credits?
Only joined participants can bid. When you become the highest bidder, Klik reserves enough credits to cover your bid. If another participant outbids you, the reserved credits are released. The winner's reserved amount is captured when the auction completes.
What if an auction ends without a winning bid?
Entry fees are returned to participants and any reserved bid amount is released. The auction is marked as refunded rather than completed.
Wallet
Credits, deposits & withdrawals
What are Klik credits?
Credits are the platform's EUR-denominated balance used for entry fees, bids, subscriptions, seller proceeds, refunds, and withdrawals. They are not cryptocurrency, do not earn interest, and every movement is recorded in your ledger.
How do I add credits?
Request a deposit from your wallet. When Payrexx is enabled, you continue to its secure checkout. In manual-payment mode, an administrator credits the wallet after the payment has been verified.
How do withdrawals work?
Submit a withdrawal request with the account holder, IBAN, and optional BIC/SWIFT. The requested amount is debited while the payout is reviewed. If the request is rejected, the full debited amount is returned to your wallet automatically.
Selling
Publishing, fees & subscriptions
Is publishing an auction free?
Yes. Submitting an auction for review has no upfront listing fee. It remains private until an administrator approves it. Without an active seller plan, a 10% platform service fee is charged on the winning bid only when the auction sells.
What does the €49 seller plan include?
The plan is purchased with credits and remains active for 1 month. Auctions published while it is active snapshot a 0% platform service fee. Payment-provider or bank-transfer costs may still apply.
What does the seller receive after a successful auction?
The seller receives the winning bid minus the snapshotted platform service fee, plus the valid entry fees collected from participants. The settlement is recorded as one transparent wallet transaction with fee details.
Who is responsible for the product and delivery?
The seller must own the item, describe it accurately, and comply with applicable law. Unless Klik expressly offers a separate delivery service, the seller and winner are responsible for arranging delivery, collection, inspection, and any related cost.
When plans change
Refunds & disputes
Can I get an entry fee back if I lose?
No. In a completed auction, the entry fee paid for access to participate and is not refunded merely because another person wins. Automatic refunds apply when the auction cannot proceed or finishes without a winner.
Can I cancel a bid or winning purchase?
Bids are intended to be binding. A change of mind is not normally a refund reason. Mandatory consumer rights and proven listing, payment, or technical errors remain unaffected.
Where can I read the complete rules?
Read the Terms of Use and Refund Policy before participating. They explain eligibility, prohibited conduct, settlement, exceptions, and dispute handling in more detail.
